Legong Kraton is one of the clasic dance in Bali and its believed to be a source of inspiration emergence of new creative dances in Bali. Legong dance is originally from Sukawati village, which is in Puri Paang Sukawati. From Sukawati legong keraton developing and spread out onto the villages in Bali such as Saba village in Puri Agung (now at Puri Taman, Saba), in Peliatan, in Bedulu, in Benoh Denpasar, and so forth. In the village of Saba, at Saba palace, according to I Gusti Gede Raka Legong Keraton already danced around the year 1911, under the direction and trainner of I Gusti Gede Oka who has a peerage "Anak Agung" in the village of Saba, which is his own grandfather.
Oleg Tamulilingan the dance for those who are in love. Oleg Tamulilingan came from two Balinese word, Oleg means graceful movement and Tamulilingan means bumblebee, combined to named a creative art of dance that was created in 1952. Inspired by the photographs of classical ballet duet "Sleeping Beauty" about the love story princess Aurora with her lovely Prince Charming, who shown to I Ketut Marya by a Western cultural observer that lived in Kaliungu, Denpasar, John Coast.
Panyembrama dance is a clasic welcome dance in Bali. Originally this dance create to performed on a religious ceremonies in Bali such as temple festivals. This dance is to welcome the God, when the ceremonies in progress.
Art, dance, religious are blended well in Balinese life. As the world favorites tourist destination island, Balinese are ready for it. The Balinese will be very happy to welcome the tourist who come to the island.
Magoak-goakan is a dance games from the Northern side of Bali island, Buleleng regency. Its a games, that played by the kids or teenagers but could be performed as a mini opera. The name magoak-goakan is taken from a bird name Goak (Raven). This game is about solidity and keep the group in form.
The games of magoak-goakan played by at least 10 people 1 person will be a hunter and the others will form a long line connected by holding the person in front of them. The hunter will try to catch the tail which is the very last person in the line but the header of the line will of course protect its tail. Once its catch the rest of the gorup will ask the hunter, what he want to release the tail and what ever the hunter want, the group has to grant it to exchange the tail that had catch by making a noice as a group of raven.

Sanghyang Dance is one of sacred and trance theatrical tradition in Bali. Its presented in the form of religious dance and specifically serves as a dance against dissaster or outbreak of disease.
Until recently Sanghyang dance is exist but not held merely as a spectacle. It is unusual dance that could be performed by anybody. The dancer are chosen by the priest or the villages elder. As a sacred and trance dance, the dancer will exposure to the spirits of the animals who has a destructive force like wild boar, monkeys, or who have other supernatural force, or even celestial nymph to get a prosperousness for the vilages.
Balaganjur mostly known as a ceremony procession accompanist in Bali. In every ceremony procession such as melasti, ngaben, temple festival, ogoh-ogoh, must be accompanist by this energetic and dynamic Balinese music called Balanjur.
Wayang is Indonesian world for "theater" (literary "shadow"). Wayang is an ancient performance in Bali that is performed live by a "Dalang" a master of the puppet and the story teller accompanied by Gender (type of Gambelan). But now wayang become more modern, which in not only gender to accompany the show but its collaborated with other gambelan, like Gong Kebyar or even Balaganjur.

Bali is not only know as a paradise on earth because its beautiful nature and friendly people. The culture and tradition that is hold strong by the Balinese is also one of the reason to attract tourists to visit Bali.
Traditional dance, art, ceremony is performance every single day in Bali. Now I will bring you one of the sacred and classic traditional dance, called Baris Dance. Word of Baris literally mean Line (troops line up). There are two kinds of Baris dance; Baris Tunggal which is mean solo Baris and Baris Gede which is mean Big or massive baris usually performed for temple festivals only.
Barong dance is one of the popular dance in Bali that often to performanced for the tourist beside Kecak Dance. Some Places in Bali Performs Barong dance daily, some in the morning some in the afternoon to attract the tourist.
Barong is the character in the mythology of Bali. He is king of the spirits, leader of the host of good and enemy of Rangda in mythological traditions in Bali. The lion Barong is one of five traditional Barong. In Bali each region of the island has its own protective spirit for its forests and lands. Each Barong for each region is modeled after a different animal. There is a boar, a tiger, a dragon (or serpent) and the traditional lion. The lion is the popular one as it comes from the Gianyar region where Ubud (the home of tourist viewed ritual) is located.
Before I talk about Perang Pandan, let me tell you about the village first. Tenganan is came from balinese word Tengah means center, this is believes because the people of Tenganan was living at the shore and then move into inside the island. Tenganan Pegeringsingan is located at Manggis district, approximately 70 km eastern from Denpasar. It is close by Candidasa and can be easily reached by public or private vehicles.
Kecak (pronounced [ˈketʃak], alternate spellings: Ketjak and Ketjack) is a form of Balinese music drama, originated in the 1930s and is performed primarily by men, although a few women's kecak groups exist as of 2006.
Also known as the
Ramayana Monkey Chant, the piece, performed by a circle of 100 or more performers wearing checked cloth around their waists, percussively chanting "cak" and throwing up their arms, depicts a battle from the
Ramayana where the monkey-like Vanarahelped Prince Rama fight the evil King Ravana. However, Kecak has roots in
sanghyang, a trance-inducing exorcism dance.
Pendet is a traditional Balinese dance, in which offerings are made to purify the temple or theater as a prelude to ceremonies or other dances. Pendet is typically performed by young girls, carrying bowls of flower petals, handfuls of which are cast into the air at various times in the dance. Pendet can be thought of as a dance of greeting, to welcome the audience and invite spirits to enjoy a performance.
Traditional Balinese dances are the oldest form of performing arts in Bali. Traditional dances can be divided into two types, sacred dance called Wali and entertainment dance called Bebalihan. Wali (sacred dance) is usually performed in some ritual ceremonies only because it has strong magical powers and only can be performed by specific dancers. Bebalihan are usually performed in social events. In addition to entertain, Bebalihan also has other purposes such as: welcoming guests, celebration of harvests, or gathering crowds. Bebalihan has more variations than Wali.
